ABOUT EFFICIENT FLOW

Project objectives

  • Improve the flow of goods and passengers through the two corridors of Gävle-Rauma and Stockholm-Turku
  • Contribute to improve two corridors in the Central Baltic area and will deliver lasting results and best practices for application in other ports and corridors of the region.
  • The project will deliver improved processes, business models and ICT tools for enhanced information exchanged between port actors, between ports, between port and hinterland operators and between ports and ships.
  • The project is expected to produce a time saving of 7%.

Project Activities

  • Implementation of Sea Traffic Management
  • By improved information exchange between the actors of the two corridors in the Central Baltic area will contribute to higher efficiency and time saving in both corridors, reduced transport time, higher transport predictability and improved sustainability and transport quality.
  • The project will make the transport flow in the corridors more efficient by improved processes and new digital solutions
